Invitation to the exhibition opening

A live event at long last! 


The MGH are proud to invite you to the inaugural event of our virtual exhibition: „Zwischen Vaterlandsliebe und Ausgrenzung - jüdische Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen der MGH“ (Between patriotism and exclusion – Jewish scholars at the MGH) on Friday, September 24 beginning at 6 p.m. in the Plenarsaal of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences, Alfons-Goppel-Straße 11, Munich.


Programme

- Introduction by Prof. Dr Martina Hartmann, President of the MGH

- Presentation of the exhibition film (10-15 minutes))

- Keynote speech by Dr Karel Hruza: „Eine halbe Welt erobern“. Über Lebenswege des MGH-Editors Siegmund Herzberg-Fränkel (1857–1913) („Eine halbe Welt erobern“. Paths through the life of the MGH editor Siegmund Herzberg-Fränkel (1857–1913)


Please note that seating is strictly limited due to the current Corona regulations. To participate in the event, you are obliged to register in advance by e-mail supplying your full name and those of all other persons attending with you!


 The registration deadline is 18 September. Please register per e-mail to annette.marquard-mois@mgh.de. Seats will be allotted on entry. After registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with information on the Corona regulations applying in the rooms of the BAdW.
