MGH president professor Dr Dr h.c. Martina Hartmann had the honour of being named a Distinguished Fellow of the Humanities Faculty of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for the academic year 2025-2026. Writing to inform her of the decision, the university stated: „This invitation reflects your exceptional contributions to and your illustrious career in the field of History“, and expressed the hope that – particularly in the face of present challenges – the vibrant international academic community might thereby be preserved and strengthened. This is indeed a matter that is close to the heart of both the Hebrew University and MGH president Hartmann, who therefore graciously accepted the honourable invitation. The MGH and the Hebrew University are also currently planning to intensify their cooperation in the fields of editorial work and academic career programmes.
